Triplanes were used in small numbers as fighter aircraft in World War I, the best known of which was the Fokker Dr. I triplane of 1917 which became the aircraft associated with Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron. These cufflinks are superb triplane replicas. Handcrafted and exquisitely detailed in sterling silver.
